Saguaro Lake

Saguaro Lake is located within the Tonto National Forest just 20 minutes from Mesa, Arizona. It is the Salt River Project Lake closest to Downtown Phoenix. Saguaro Lake is a long, narrow and winding lake created by the construction of Stewart Mountain Dam.

This lake has so much to offer. Large socks of bass, bluegill, and catfish make every trip a sure catch. This lake holds a hidden camp ground called Bagley Flats and it’s about four miles from the dam and only accessible by boat. The campground has thirty spaces, sanitation facilities, and is open year round with no fees.
